We will not let Congress deteriorate: Mahamantri Thapa

Chitwan . Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that Congress will not be allowed to deteriorate. He said that the Congress is everyone’s home and will not allow it to be damaged in the ‘special honor on the occasion of the 111th birth anniversary of Jananayak BP Koirala’ program organized by the Nepali Congress Chitwan here today. He said, “There was some garbage in the house, we will clean it. We will fix the house that is going to deteriorate.”

Maha Mantri Thapa assured that in the recent past, Congress has formed alliances only to win elections and now it will move forward based on ideas. He emphasized that it is necessary to take the ideas of the Congress to the villages rather than giving priority to winning the elections and forming the government. “We have to strengthen the organization so that the Congress can fight alone in the upcoming elections and move forward. The Central Committee has taken the decision knowing that the politics of the alliance is not good. Therefore, let’s take a decision to correct ourselves once and move forward”, said General Minister Thapa.

He also said that the Congress has moved on the path of purification through the meeting of the Central Committee. Now, as in the past, when the party deteriorated at the top, it deteriorated at the bottom, Chief Minister Thapa pointed out the need for the Congress to move forward to become a center for solving every problem.

Central member of the party and Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel said that the party should make its ideas clear and go to the people by uniting the organization. He said, “The friends in the government should work from the ministry in consultation with the party and the friends outside should continue to be cautious. It always motivates to do good work, the credibility of the party increases and only by doing this one can become a true worker of BP.” Minister Paudel said that he will play a role in implementing the plans put forward by party general minister Thapa when he was the health minister.

Central members Uma Regmi, Tek Prasad Gurung, Dinesh Koirala, former party president Vikas Koirala, Jeet Narayan Shrestha said that everyone should work honestly from their place to strengthen the party.

One hundred and seventy-four leaders were honored in various categories in the program presided over by the party’s Chitwan president Rajeshwar Khanal. They have been given special and special honors posthumously. Rasas
