The members of Hasina’s party, who reached India on Monday along with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, have now started leaving India for another destination.
Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana (Didibahini) came to India with their aides after the reservation movement forced Hasina to resign from the post of Prime Minister due to political discontent.
Sources said that most of the members of Hasina’s party are now planning to leave India for their next safe destination.
The number of associates of two sisters from a prominent political family of Bangladesh is in double digits.
Before they came to India, Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was in constant touch with officials. In Delhi, he managed a team with leader Hasina.
The members of the newly elected interim government led by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus will be sworn in on Thursday evening, quoting Bangladesh Army Chief General Walker-Uz-Zamanle, Daily Star reported.
Indicating that there may be 15 members in the interim government, Zaman expressed the hope that the situation in Bangladesh would improve significantly and return to normal within three to four days. He said that legal action will be taken against the people involved in the crimes committed in the past. Rasas
