May 17, Kathmandu. Secondary level recognition and equivalence certificate is available online.
The Curriculum Development Center is going to provide the recognition and equivalency certificate of secondary level (classes 10 and 12) and lower than class 10 levels and classes through online after obtaining educational degrees from domestic or foreign institutions and boards operating in Nepal.
The Accreditation and Equivalence Branch of the Center held a formal program on Friday and informed that the certificate will be given online.
Branch Director Vishnu Gyawali said that online facilities have been started to provide easy service to the students.
The branch had earlier started accepting online applications from 1 January 2079. There was a rule that you have to go to the branch to get the certificate. However, now students will receive it online. And, students can print by themselves.
Students will receive the recognition and equivalence certificate within 3 to 7 days of applying. ‘According to the number of students, it happens sooner or later. If the number of applicants is small, it will take 3 days or even sooner, if there are more, it may take up to a week,’ said Gyawali, the head of the branch.
On Friday, Education Secretary Dr. Deepak Kafle inaugurated the online service.
