16 June, Kathmandu. Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that the country may go to mid-term elections.

The parties will change the equation overnight, not only will the party that has been supported here today, but tomorrow, the Prime Minister himself will change the equation. Its kind of activities are increasing.’
He said that with the recent activities of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and political parties, there is a possibility of mid-term elections for the House of Representatives. ‘There are possibilities that the House of Representatives may hold mid-term elections.’ He said.
He also instructed the party leaders and workers to get involved in building the organization keeping in mind the possible mid-term elections. President Lingden said that it is not only about the possible mid-term elections, but also to make the movement started by the party successful, the whole party should join in building the organization.
He said, ‘We should talk about the upcoming local level elections or possible mid-term elections. And not only about the election, now we are also raising the issue of the movement. May it succeed. It is necessary to build an organization.’
President Lingden also claimed that since the country was weakened by the big parties, they had to find an alternative to it.
