11 thousand children are being given IPV vaccination in Gulmi

16 June, Gulmi. IPV vaccination campaign is being conducted in Gulmi under the National Vaccination Program. As part of the campaign, all 12 local level children of Gulmi who missed vaccination will be given IPV vaccination against polio.

Pashupati Acharya, Public Health Officer of Health Office Gulmi, said that 10,810 children will be given IPV vaccination through 392 centers. According to him, children born from May 2073 to October 2075 will be vaccinated against IPV.

Acharya said that the IPV vaccine is being given through the campaign as the children under one year of age who missed this vaccine earlier are at risk of polio.
