Benny (Magdi)- Four hundred and fifty-seven patients have been treated at the free health camp organized in Beni Municipality-4 Singa of Myagdi. The health camp was organized by Darshan Foundation and Nepal Red Cross Society Singa sub-branch and with the technical support of Beni Hospital and United Reference Laboratory Pokhara.
Suman Baniyan, Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society Singa sub-branch, informed that more than 200 people’s blood and urine were tested in the camp. In the camp, patients from neighboring wards were also treated along with all the villagers of Ward No. 4 Singa. Most of the patients with intoxication and joint problems have taken services from the camp.
In the camp, specialist health services were provided for stomach, chest, heart, diabetes and thyroid, gynecology and obstetrics, orthopedics, intoxication and rheumatic diseases. Similarly, general and laparoscopic services, rheumatism and other medicines were distributed free of charge in the camp, said Chairman Baniyan.
A team of 35 health workers including Dr. Krishnaraj Adhikari, Dr. Sarojchandra Dahal, Dr. Virat Sharma, Dr. Raj Gurung, Dr. Anju Thapa of Beni Hospital, Dr. Ramu Sapkota of Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences examined the health of the patients at the camp. Ana Bahadur Khadka, Ward President of Beni Municipality-4, said that after the health camp was organized in Gharadailo, the patients with poor financial condition benefited the most. Rasas
