Dhankuta. On the occasion of National Children’s Day, a free health camp for children was completed at the community building in Dhankuta.
The camp was organized by Saheed Ramkrishna Shrestha Memorial Foundation Dhankuta and with the support of Birat Medical College Biratnagar. In the camp, free examination of all types of diseases related to children and distribution of free medicines were also conducted for all people about cancer awareness program.
In the camp, Virat Medical College’s senior pediatrician Prof. Dr. Hemsagar Rimal, cancer specialist Dr. A team of 7 health workers including Asmita Rayamazhi was deployed. 128 children have received services from the camp. It is said that complex patients who come to the camp will be treated at Virat Medical College for free and at a special discount or concessional rate.
The camp was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Koshi Province and Minister of State for Council of Ministers Shrijan Rai.
