Kathmandu. Today is the first memorial day of Constituent Assembly Speaker and the then Vice President of Nepal Communist Party (UML) Subash Chandra Nemwang. The late leader is being remembered by holding a memorial meeting at the CPN UML office in Chaisal, Lalitpur today.
The Prime Minister’s Private Secretariat has informed that the party president and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will address the memorial meeting. UML Central Office Secretary Bhishma Adhikari said that other senior leaders of the party will also participate in the memorial meeting.
Nemwang was a member of the National Assembly in 2048 and 2051 and won the parliamentary elections in 2056, 2074 and 2079 and the Constituent Assembly elections in 2064 and 2070 from Elam.
