Kathmandu . The National Sports Council (Rakhep) is going to honor 18 people including five athletes on the occasion of its 61st anniversary. According to Rakhep, a program of honoring has been scheduled at the hall of the Army Officers Club in Bhadrakali on Wednesday under the chief hospitality of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the patron of the anniversary Rakhep.
According to Rakhep, 1-1 male/female and 1 para player will be honored in senior and junior. 8 administrative and technical staff, 2 sports journalists, 1 local level, 1 sponsor and 1 national sports association will be awarded.
According to Rakhep, the local level, sponsors and National Sports Association will be honored with certificates of appreciation and the rest will be honored with cash prizes. On the same occasion, two hundred and thirty-six employees who have completed 20 years of service in Rakhep will be awarded the Parishad Seva Medal. The achievements, activism and activities achieved during the year are to be rewarded.
To complete the program successfully, a 7-member National Sports Council’s 61st Anniversary Subcommittee-2081 has been formed under the coordination of Nanda Basyal, a member of the Executive Committee. Prem Bahadur Malla, head of the administration department, is the secretary of the sub-committee.
Similarly, five different working groups have also been formed to select the players to be awarded.
