Birganj. Water Minister Pradeep Yadav has claimed that the government is doing public works despite limited resources due to transparency, accountability and public accountability.
Addressing a large gathering of workers organized by Jaspa Regional Committee today in Ward No. 16 Nagwa of Birgunj Metropolitan City, Water Minister Yadav said that the first priority of the government is to provide convenient services to the citizens.
Minister Yadav, who is also the joint general minister of Jaspa, said that he is committed to further the prosperity and development of Birganj by being active in the service of the people.
He expressed his commitment to solve the problem of drinking water in this area and also revealed that the government is preparing a solid action plan for the overall development of health, education, development, agriculture and tourism industry in Madhes.
Joint General Minister of the party Yadav said that the Janata Samajbadi Party was established after the majority members separated from the party after the Upendra-led Jaspa Nepal betrayed the Madhes and the Madhesi people. He said that they are engaged in the campaign to make the Madhesi prosperous and happy Madhesi by taking the joint campaign of Jaspa to the doorsteps of the people.
In the program, Rajeshman Singh, Mayor of Birganj Metropolitan City, said that there was a problem of water supply during dry season in Nagwa and other areas of Birgunj.
He said that the metropolis expects all kinds of support from the government in the campaign to make Vaibhav Birgunj and urged the Nepalese government not to turn Birgunj, an economic and industrial city, into a place to collect revenue.
Jaspa Birgunj Metropolitan Committee Secretary Farid Alam presided over the event and party district members Laldev Yadav, Arun Yadav, Shyamsunder Chaurasia, Majid Mian, Mustafa Alam, Kalim Mian Prabhu Chaurasia and others were present in the event.
