Kathmandu. The president of Kantipur Media Group, Kailash Sirohia, who was arrested for investigation on the complaint of citizenship, has been allowed to be detained for 3 more days. He has already been detained for 6 days twice, 3/3 days, and the police presented him to the district court in Dhanusha on Monday, requesting permission to be detained for 5 more days. .
But Shrestedar Kailash Bhattarai informed that the bench of District Judge Yaduraj Sharma allowed the police to keep him in custody for 3 days and investigate. On Monday, he was taken from Kavya Hospital in an ambulance to the district attorney’s office and the district court.
Sirohia was arrested on June 8 on the basis of a complaint filed by Indrajit Prasad Mahato, a Madhesh state member of the RSVP for the crime of citizenship abuse. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday due to health problems.
