Kathmandu. A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court demanding the dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane.
Advocate Anupam Bhattarai filed a writ on Monday with the Attorney General’s Office, Attorney General Dinmani Pokharel and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane as opponents.
The Attorney General’s Office had written a letter saying that there was no prosecution in any court against the Home Minister. In the writ, it is demanded to cancel the letter.
Also, it has been demanded that the Home Minister should be suspended while the investigation process is going on, saying that he can exert undue influence on the investigation process. The appearance on this writ has been fixed for June 16.
