Kathmandu . Ambassador of India to Nepal Naveen Srivastava had a courtesy meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh. In the meeting held in Minister Singh’s office, various issues of bilateral interest and mutual interest were discussed between them.
According to the ministry, Ambassador Srivastava wished Minister Singh a successful tenure and said that the Government of India is ready to enhance mutual cooperation.
Minister Singh and Ambassador Srivastava also discussed about India’s support in urban development, river pollution control and garbage management, said Maniram Gelal, the secretary of the said ministry. The project under construction in Nepal was reviewed with the help of the Government of India. Secretary Gelal informed that there was a discussion about the integrated customs checkpoint under construction in the border area of the two countries
