Kathmandu . An Indian national was arrested by the police from Tribhuvan International Airport with 99 grams and 41 milligrams of gold-like yellow metal that had been evaded by customs.
Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki informed that 41-year-old Deepak Jairamdas Ghind was arrested. He said, “He who came to Kathmandu from Sarjaha via Air Arabia flight was arrested last night during the customs check at Tribhuvan International Airport.”
One piece of Sikri, two pieces of Bala, four pieces of mobile and four pieces of laptop have also been recovered from his possession. Spokesman Karki said that further investigation is being done on the matter. Rasas
