Arghakhanchi. Arghakhanchi has been declared as the district for ensuring complete vaccination. Today, a program was organized at the headquarters of Sandhikhark and the district was declared as a complete immunization and sustainability district.
After ensuring that 13 vaccinations are provided to children from birth to 59 months according to the National Immunization Schedule, the district has been declared fully vaccinated.
Shiv Nepali, Head of Health Office Arghakhanchi, informed that all the 6 local levels of the district have declared complete immunization as a district since 16th of Baisakh 2080 and the declaration campaign of sustainable municipality has been completed today.
He said that in the financial year 2080/81, 2,790 children under 15 months and 9,935 children between 15 months and 59 months were fully vaccinated.
District Vaccination Coordinating Committee Coordinator and Head of District Coordinating Committee Jivnarayan Koirala and Lumbini Province MP Ramji Prasad Ghimire and others also signed saying that vaccination is guaranteed.
