32 May, Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has stated that 9000 bigha land in Brihat Janakpur has been encroached upon and will be brought under the scope of action.
Speaking at the end of the press conference held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday, Lamichhane said that the police will start an operation against the encroachment of 9,000 bigha land in a few days.
Let us inform you about one thing as we go. It has been found that 9000 bigha land in Brihat Janakpur has been encroached upon. The police will conduct a big operation against this in a few days’ said Lamichhane.
Similarly, he said that in 100 days since he took over the ministry, 633 bigha 7 katta 13 dhur land encroached by the government has been brought back to the same condition as before. He also said that public lands in other places are being searched and brought under the name of the government.
