32 May, Kathmandu. The concept of students studying and earning will be implemented within the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
Mayor Balen Shah announced this while presenting the policy and program for the coming year. He said that jobs will be created by working ‘part time’ for this.
He said that the movable assets of the educational institutions within Kathmandu metropolis will be used only for educational purposes. He also said that community learning centers within the metropolis will be developed as libraries.
He also said that non-governmental organizations in the private sector will be encouraged in library development. He announced that the audit of the school will now be done by the metropolis.
