31 May, Kathmandu. Nepal has been placed in a difficult group in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers.
According to the draw announced by the Asian Football Federation on Thursday, Nepal is in the same group as the power house of Asia, Japan and Qatar.
Nepal will compete with Japan, Qatar and Mongolia in Group F. All the matches of this group stage will be played in Qatar. The qualifying matches will be held from October 19 to 27.
43 teams from Asia have been divided into 10 groups. There are 5-5 teams in 3 groups and 4-4 teams in 7 groups.
