30 June, Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolis has rescued five child laborers inside the Lion Palace.
On Wednesday, the metropolitan team, which monitored various canteens inside Singh Darbar, rescued five child laborers working there.
The metropolis, which has been campaigning against child labor for a few days, went to Anugam inside the Singha Darbar on Wednesday. Even now, the metropolitan team is monitoring inside the Singha Darbar.
After receiving information about the physical and labor exploitation of children in various areas of Kathmandu, the metropolis has spent a year preparing ‘Child Protection and Child Rights Procedure 2080’ for their rescue.
Now, according to the same procedures, volunteer search, rescue and long-term management are going to be carried out.
