22 June, Kathmandu. The air flight, which was stopped for a while due to rain and storm, has started. On Tuesday morning, there was rain in Bagmati, Gandaki and Madhesh along with Kathmandu Valley along with thunder, lightning and wind.
Due to rain accompanied by wind, the visibility was reduced and the flight was also affected for a while. “Now that the visibility has opened, the flights have also started,” said Meteorologist Minkumar Aryal of the Weather Forecast Division.
According to Aryal, after heavy rainfall for a while, Kathmandu Valley has returned to normal conditions. “The developed system has now moved to the northeast, so the situation is normal,” he said.
However, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued a warning to be on the alert as the system causing thunderstorms is about to move towards the northeast. In Nawalparasi, one person has died after being crushed by a tree blown down by the wind. The deceased is 69-year-old Chitra Bahadur Thapa of Madhyabindu Municipality-12.
