22 June, Kathmandu. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has wished the Nepalese cricket team for their excellent performance in the World Cup. He issued a statement and expressed his belief that the World Cup will make Nepal’s identity higher.
Prime Minister Dahal has said that he is confident that the Nepali team will achieve historic success. He also claimed that the government under his leadership is constantly making important decisions and implementing them for the development of the sports field and the encouragement of players.
‘After a decade today, the Nepali cricket team is playing in the World Cup, it has increased Nepal’s pride, the world’s attention has been drawn towards Nepal’, he said, ‘I express my thanks to the Nepali cricket team for their continuous hard work, struggle and success to increase the prestige of the country.’
Nepal is playing against Netherlands today in ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The game will start at 9:15 PM Nepali time at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, USA.
