Chief Minister of the province Yamlal Kandel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Suryanath Yogi, the vice-chairman of the Commission, in a program organized at the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers today. After that, Vice President Yogi administered the oath to two members, Ashok Nath Yogi and Dumbar Bahadur Rawal. The provincial government meeting held on Wednesday appointed the officials.
According to the Karnali Province Planning Commission (Formation and Operations Order) 2075, there is a provision that the commission will have a chief minister as chairman, an expert vice-chairman appointed by the provincial government, a maximum of two expert members appointed by the provincial government, a chief secretary member and a member-secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Planning. .
The vice-chairman of the commission, Suryanath Yogi, is a permanent resident of Birendra Nagar-4 in Surkhet, while Dammar Bahadur Rawal of Rara Municipality-5 in Mugu and Ashoknath Yogi of Raskot Municipality-3, Kalikot, have been appointed as members.
