Kirtipur (Kathmandu). Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that the government is trying to make Kathmandu Valley a livable city.
Delivering a message to the Kathmandu First District Council of the Nepal Trade Union Congress held in Kirtipur today, Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that the current government was formed with the cooperation of the two major parties in the country for political stability.
Rajendra Kumar KC, a central member of the Congress and a member of the House of Representatives of Kathmandu Region No. 10, said that the trade union’s attention should now be on how to use the resources of the country in the highest way and how to attract the youth to the country’s labor market.
Harisharan Nepali, a central member of the Congress and head of the trade union department of the party, said that the Congress will be strong only if the trade union is strong.
Central President of Nepal Trade Union Congress, Yogendra Kunwar, opined that labor movement should include both formal and informal sectors.
