Baitadi Dashrathchand Highway and Mahakali Highway, which were blocked due to landslides after continuous rains, have been brought into operation.
Landslides occurred in Dasarathchand Municipality 1 Gurukhola of Baitadi under Dasarathchand Highway, while landslides fell in Sillek 4 and Ward No. 6 Salsena of Dogadakedar Rural Municipality of Baitadi under Mahakali Highway. Police spokesperson of District Police Office Baitadi Police Inspector Balram Pandey informed that after removing the landslides in both places, the means of transport have been brought into operation from today. The rains for three consecutive days have affected the life here.
It has been raining continuously here since last Wednesday evening. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Far West till Saturday. The district administration office, Baitadi, has taken precautions as it is raining continuously.
