dolakha . Youth and Sports Minister Tejulal Chaudhary has said that the Ministry of Youth and Sports will move forward keeping in mind the needs of the Nepali sports sector.
While inaugurating the Swa Bhim Bahadur Tamang Memorial Navy Association Cup football tournament organized by the Nepal Students Association Dolakha today, Minister Choudhary said that the upgrade of the cricket ground at Kirtipur will be completed within 300 days.
He informed that keeping in mind the decision of the first cabinet meeting of the current government under the leadership of KP Oli and the needs of the Nepali sports sector, the ministry has given priority to the campaign. He said that parapits and floodlights will be installed at the Kirtipur playground at the scheduled time.
Minister Chaudhary said that Taekwondo player Palesha Govardhan, who won the bronze medal for Nepal in the Para Olympic Games, will be handed over Rs 6.5 lakh in cash from the government on Friday.
He said that the government is making important plans for the development of sports fields in Himalayan districts including Dolakha.
