Kathmandu. Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari has said that there will be no shortage of food and daily necessities during the festival.
Answering the questions raised by the parliamentarians in today’s meeting of the National Assembly, Minister Bhandari said that an action plan aimed at the festival will be made to prevent food shortages, joint market monitoring will be made effective and arrangements will be made to purchase local products in coordination with the local level.
Similarly, while answering the questions of the parliamentarians, the Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Devendra Dahal, said that the repair work has started on the national strategic roads, trauma centers will be established in the areas of potential accidents and road transport will be made safe and efficient.
On behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Devendra Dahal, Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, presented the Attorney General’s Annual Report 2079-80 at the meeting.
Likewise, Maya Prasad Sharma, a member of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, presented the fifth annual report of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee 2080/81 to the Assembly.
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Narayan Dahal, informed that the election for the vacant post of the Chairman of the Subject Committee of the Assembly will be held on Monday, August 31.
The Secretary of the National Assembly, Dr. Surendra Aryal, informed the Assembly of the message received from the Assembly of Representatives regarding the Nepal University Bill 2079, which was passed by the National Assembly and sent to the House of Representatives with a message.
The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Sunday, August 30th at 1:15 PM.
