Morang. The Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Kumar Karki, said that the construction professionals have an important contribution in nation building and urged them to make quality construction the main mantra.
Inaugurating the 27th General Assembly of Morang Construction Professionals Association today, he said that the professionals are ready to solve the problems of the construction sector. He expressed his commitment to improve the policies and regulations so that the construction businessmen will be comfortable with the aim of the Procurement Act. He said, “The monetary policy of the current financial year has given hope to the construction industry.” He also expressed his commitment to pay the businessmen.
Ravi Singh, president of the Construction Professionals Federation, said that the delay in payment has caused serious financial problems to the construction professionals.
He emphasized that the funds for the completed projects should be given without delay. He said that 2.5 million people got jobs because of the construction business association.
