Kathmandu. Preparations for Rishi Panchami have been completed at Risheshwar Mahadev temple in Teku.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 12 has said that every year on the day of Rishi Panchami, all preparations including safety of women pilgrims, arrangements for crowd management, sanitation, painting, street lighting management have been completed. Cleanliness has also been done in the temple and the heritage sites around it.
Since the temple will be opened for darshan from 12 o’clock tonight, Ward President Balkrishna Maharjan informed that security personnel, Nepal Scout and representatives of various organizations have been coordinated to organize the fair.
Arrangements have been made for women fasting on Teej to visit the temple as well as worship on Panchami. Police will be deployed at the place where there is a queue for the safety of the devotees.
Ward President Maharjan informed that in case of any future or emergency, arrangements for ambulance and initial health check-up camp and darshan for the disabled and elderly have been arranged easily.
Similarly, on Sunday, vehicles leaving from Teku to Kuleshwar and Sanepa have been stopped, so everyone has been requested to use alternative routes.
