Dhangadhi . The government of Sudurpaschim Province has introduced the (Tax) Ordinance 2081 to make arrangements for occasional revenue collection.
In the absence of a budget, the provincial government has brought a tax ordinance for immediate revenue collection. Minister of Economic Affairs Bahadur Singh Thapa said that the ordinance was approved by the meeting of the Provincial Government Council of Ministers held today. He informed that it has been recommended to Provincial Chief Minister Nazir Mian for validation of the Ordinance. According to government officials, after the ordinance is verified and published in the state gazette, the way for revenue collection will open. Since the budget brought by the then government was not passed, the tax collection in the Far Western Province has stopped and the government has become insolvent. All types of revenue collection work has been stopped here since July 1.
