According to the Police Head Office, 108 people have died in disasters including floods and landslides in various parts of the country since May 28 due to incessant rain.
Two people died in Kathmandu valley, 19 people in Koshi province, five people in Madhesh province, nine people in Bagmati province, 38 people in Gandaki province, 23 people in Lumbini province, four people in Karnali province and eight people in Sudurpaschim province.
Similarly, 119 people were injured in the incident. Eight people were injured in Kathmandu valley, 31 people in Koshi province, nine people in Madhes province, seven people in Bagmati province, 28 people in Gandaki province, nine people in Lumbini province, 16 people in Karnali province and 11 people in Sudurpaschim province.
Police said the injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment. According to the police, 53 people who were affected by the floods and landslides have been rescued and six people are still missing. It is said that a total of 182 houses were inundated due to the flood. Like this, it has arrived.
Five hundred and sixteen animals have died. During that period, 3,552 families were displaced due to the disaster.
