Kathmandu. Newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has thanked everyone.
After being appointed as the Prime Minister, he gave it to everyone through social media. He expressed his thanks on social media by mentioning ‘everyone is equal, thanks to everyone’.
Nepal Communist Party (UML) President Oli has been appointed by President Ramchandra Paudel today according to Article 76(2) of the Constitution.
After Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ did not receive a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives meeting on Friday, President Paudel called on the members of the House of Representatives who can get a majority with the support of two or more parties represented in the House of Representatives to submit their claim to the post of Prime Minister by 5:00 p.m. today.
Immediately after the President called for submission of claims, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and UML President Oli submitted claims for the appointment of President Oli as Prime Minister with the signatures of the majority members of Parliament as party leaders.
Prime Minister Oli’s oath will be taken at 11:00 AM on Monday, according to the President’s Office.
