Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has decided to make inclusiveness and regional balance the main basis for choosing the ministers who will participate on behalf of the party in the government to be formed.
Spokesman Dr. Nepali Congress Central Executive Committee meeting held today at the central office of Nepali Congress decided to select the ministers who will participate in the government on an inclusive basis after adjusting the regional balance. Prakasharan Mahat said.
The meeting of the Congress Working Committee, while expressing grief over the loss of life due to natural calamities in different parts of the country, drew the attention of the government to intensify the search for missing persons and to move the citizens of dangerous places to safe places.
The meeting also drew the attention of the government to make necessary studies and make legal arrangements to end the tragic situation of road accidents.
After the meeting, the spokesperson of the Congress, Dr. Mahat, said that he would take other political parties along with him to speed up the country by ensuring the stability of the government and that the issues including constitutional amendment would be finalized on the basis of consensus.
After Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda could not get a vote of confidence in yesterday’s meeting of the House of Representatives, President Ramchandra Poudel has given time until 5 pm on Sunday and called for the formation of a new government.
Nepali Congress and CPN UML have agreed to form a government under the leadership of UML President KP Sharma Oli on June 17th.
