Pokhara. Provincial Sports Council Gandaki has awarded the medal winners of various sports of the province with cash.
Sridhar Sharma, member secretary of the council informed that the winning players were awarded with cash in various national level competitions held in the financial year 2080/081. He said that the winners of Bagmati state level national competition, President’s Cup and U-15 school level sports competition were awarded on Saturday.
The Chief Minister of Gandaki Province and Patron of the Council, Surendra Raj Pandey, Social Development and Health Minister Bindu Kumar Thapa and others honored the players with cash in the event organized at Pokhara Stadium.
7,000 to the players who win gold medals in the competition, and 5,000 to the players who win gold medals in two or group games. Similarly, the official of the council, Toplal Bhushal, informed that the players who get the silver medal in the single side will be awarded with Rs. He said that the players who won a bronze medal in a single event were awarded 3,000 rupees and the players who won a bronze medal in two or group games were awarded with 2,000 rupees each.
