Janakpurdham. The meeting of the Madhes State Assembly has passed the Economic Bill 2081 unanimously.
The Economic Bill 2081 presented by Madhesh Chief Minister and Finance Minister Satikumar Singh was unanimously passed by the meeting held today.
Answering the questions raised during the discussion in the meeting, Chief Minister Singh said that the current government has continued the same tax range as the previous government and informed that there has been no change in the tax rate.
Chief Minister Singh, who also held the charge of Finance Minister, said that the provincial government is serious about making the country self-sufficient by developing the agricultural sector and increasing the income of the Madhes.
