Dhangadhi. The government of Sudurpaschim province has brought a budget of about 31 billion for the next financial year.
In today’s provincial assembly meeting, the Minister of Economic Affairs of the provincial government, Surendra Bahadur Pal, presented a budget worth 31 billion 62 billion 98 lakh 28 thousand for the coming financial year 2081/82.
Out of the total budget of the state government, 11.7 billion 63 lakh 19 thousand has been allocated for current and 17.53 billion 8 lakh 55 thousand for capital. Similarly, in the budget, 2.92 billion 7.0 million 10 thousand has been set aside for intergovernmental financial transfer.
In the presented budget, the government has given priority to agriculture, tourism, education, health, drinking water, irrigation, infrastructure development, hydropower, sports and other sectors for building a prosperous province.
