Meteorologist of the department Saroj Pudasaini informed that the general effect of monsoon will be felt in Kathmandu valley from Saturday evening and said that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder here on Saturday afternoon and night.
Monsoon is gradually moving from east to west, but it should be considered as pre-monsoon activity, he said.
Meteorologist Pudasaini said Saturday will be partly to mostly cloudy compared to Friday. The department has predicted that the maximum temperature here on Saturday will be between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature here was measured at 33.4 degrees Celsius on Friday.
