Inter-school football title to NIC – Online Khabar

32 May, Kathmandu. NIC Academy has won the title of the 2nd Ward President’s Cup Inter-School Football Tournament.

NIC defeated Vinayak English School by 3-0 in the final at Chandravinayak Park, Chabhil with the technical support of Chavhil Sports Club.

Anish Joshi, Harishit Pariyar and Pratyush KC of NIC scored 1-1 each. Winner NIC received 20,000 and runner-up Vinayak received 10,000 cash prize.

Anish Joshi was declared the best player, Yasun Thapa Thapa Magar the best goalkeeper and Gaurav Khadka the best defender in the competition organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 7. He belongs to the excellent NIC.

Sixteen student teams participated in the knockout competition starting from May 28th.
