Kathmandu. Directed by Naveen Subba, the film ‘Gaon Anya Bato’ has been released in UAE, Qatar and Bahrain since Thursday. Nip Films, a Middle East distribution company, has screened the film in major theaters in those countries.
Ramesh Dhakal, the distributor, said that this film, which was screened in Nepal with positive reviews, was screened in the big cinema chains of the Middle East, Vox Star, Cine Royal, Cinepolis, Cineco and Nova.
“This opportunity to show the film together with Nepal to the Nepali community in the Middle East is a success for the Nepali film industry,” Dhakal told Online News. “Initially, we have received positive reviews.”
Starring Dayahang Rai, Pashupati Rai and Prasan Rai in lead roles, this film tells the story of an emotional relationship between father and son. This film, jointly produced by Bansuri Films and Mencheyam Films, is the directorial comeback of director Subba after two decades.
Meanwhile, this film is also releasing in the United States from June 21.
