AYUSH Gold in Bangladesh

31 May, Kathmandu. Ayush Dhungel of Nepal won the gold medal in the first BKSP International Taekwondo Championship on Thursday.

According to team manager Pradeep Thapa Magar, Ayush defeated Al Suved Raeem of host Bangladesh in the title match of men’s 63 kg weight group in the tournament held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Earlier, Ayush had defeated Yasin in the semi-finals.

Sheikh Irfan Kharel of Nepal also won the gold medal in men’s 54 kg by defeating Abdu Zayed Khan of the host.

Men’s 45 Kejmia, Nepal’s Padam Ghale, was limited to a bronze medal after losing to Indian players in the semi-finals. Mohammad Umar Khan is the coach of the Nepalese team.
