30 June, Janakpurdham. Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has nominated three candidates for the post of co-chairman.
Lalbabu Raut, Rakam Chemjong and Rajkishore Yadav have filed their candidature for the post of co-chairman.
Elections are being held for the posts other than the chairman in the first national convention of JSP Nepal’s ongoing unity. Upendra Yadav has been elected unopposed as the chairman.
23 candidates have been nominated for five vice-president positions. Similarly, the election committee said that 6 candidates have been nominated for two general secretaries.
Bom Bahadur Darlami Magar (Tribal), Ram Kumar Sharma, Vijay Kumar, Deepak Karki, Manish Kumar Suman and Ashok Kumar Yadav have been nominated for the post of General Secretary.
Joint Secretary General Dr. Surendra Kumar Yadav, Rambabu Prasad Yadav, Ram Kishore Prasad Yadav, Rajkumar Rai, Yogendra Rai Yadav, Shailendra Prasad Sah, Suresh Kumar Mandal, Dr. Jayaprakash Rai Yadav and Jairam Yadav have given their candidature.
According to the election committee, Sitakumari Yadav, Vinita Kumari Yadav and Nirmala Yadav have registered their candidatures for joint general secretary women.
Renukumari Yadav, Balram Mahato and Sanjay Kumar Yadav have been nominated as Treasurer. Similarly, 34 candidates have applied for the post of secretary.
