23 June, Kathmandu. Australia won the World Test Championship and the ODI World Cup last year. They are starting their journey to the T20 World Cup with the goal of becoming champions in all formats of cricket.
Group B Australia will play their first match against Oman tomorrow morning. The match will start at 6:30 am Nepali time on Thursday in Barbados.
In 2010, Australia reached the final of the T20 World Cup in the Caribbean region. But losing to England, it was limited to runner-up.
After that, he did not reach the final for a long time. In 2021, the T-20 World Cup trophy was lifted. The following year, Australia could not defend the title at home.
Many players from that team are still in the team and they want to win the T20 World Cup title.
For that, the associate nation Amon, who will face Australia in the first match, is a relatively weak team. On top of that, they have already lost to Namibia in the first match. Oman lost in the super over of the exciting game.

The players who played in the IPL were late to join the team. It took them a long time to reach Barbados from India. According to Cameron Green, Mitchell Starc took 60 hours to reach Barbados. Some luggage was delayed.
Possible team
Mitchell Marsh is captaining Australia for the first time in a global event.
Travis Head will be the opener along with veteran David Warner in the Australian opener. Captain Michesh Marsh will come in at number three. Along with Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David and wicketkeeper Matthew Wade will be in the middle order.
Adam Zampa will be the only spinner while Test team captain Pat Cummings along with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood will handle the pace attack. Zampa will be supported by Maxwell in spin.
Oman is likely to continue with the same players who played against Namibia. Kashyap Prajapati and Naseem Khushi will be openers and captain Akib will be one down.
Former captain Jisan Maqsood along with Khadil Kyle, Ayaan Khan Ramohammed Nadim will be in the middle order. Along with Bilan Khan, Mehran Khan Sakil Ahmed, who bowled brilliantly in the last over against Kalimullah Namibia, will be in the bowling line-up.
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and Oman bowler Bilal Khan will be among the players to watch in Thursday’s match. His performance in this IPL season is not as expected. But when he plays for the country, his performance is really good. Bilal Khan will handle Oman’s pace attack.
According to Oman captain Akib Ilyash, the players are excited to play against strong teams, because they have nothing to lose in such a game.
