23rd June, Janakpurdham. Two people died in separate road accidents in Sarlahi.
20-year-old Dipsharan Chalise, a resident of Bagmati Municipality-2 Dumaria, died when a truck No. 6K 4989 traveling from east to west hit a motorcycle No. 64 P 6025 coming from the opposite direction near Hariwan Municipality-10 Sukhepokhari of Sarlahi on the East-West Highway at around 11:30 PM.
District Police Office Sarlahi said that the motorcyclist Chalise died at Durghanasthal.
Sarlahi police said that the truck and the truck driver are under arrest and are conducting necessary investigations.
Similarly, 65-year-old Nil Bahadur Prasain of Kelhabi Municipality-1 died when a motorcycle number Ba91P 9362 was going west at Milan Chowk on East-West Highway at 3.30 pm on Tuesday.
Nil Bahadur, who was riding behind the motorcycle, was seriously injured. He died this morning during treatment. His son Raju Prasai, a 36-year-old motorcyclist, was injured.
