May 17, Kathmandu. Mutual cooperation between China and Arab countries has been announced. Chinese President Xi Jinping has announced that cooperation between China and the Arab world will continue in five different areas, Global Times has mentioned.
Addressing the meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, Xi put forward five forms of cooperation. Dynamic innovation, expanded cooperation and new cooperation in investment, and greater cooperation in the energy sector have been announced between China and the Arab world.
Similarly, the Global Times has mentioned that more cooperation has been announced through exchange of mutual benefits and at the people’s level in economic and commercial terms.
Under innovation, China and Arabia will jointly build 10 state-of-the-art health laboratories in Arabia. Similarly, cooperation has been announced between them in technology based on mechanical intelligence.
Similarly, in the energy sector, it has been announced to cooperate in green energy and modern agricultural systems as well as information technology. Similarly, cooperation in space technology has also been announced between the two countries.
It has been two decades since the China-Arab Cooperation Forum was established. In the meantime, good trade relations have been established between the Arab countries and China. China is at the forefront of the countries doing business with the Arab countries.
There is also a cooperation agreement between Arab countries and China in BRI. Under which there is mutual cooperation in more than 200 projects. It is expected that 2 billion people will benefit from this.
China and the Arab countries currently have a trade of 400 billion. There is a mutual expectation to increase this trade through the new framework of cooperation.
Addressing the conference on Thursday, Xi said that the cooperation between China and Arab countries is advancing to a new height. He also mentioned that China is ready to take the mutual relations to a new height by forming a strategic partnership with the Arabs.
Chinese Prime Minister Xi has said that his country will host the 2026 Sino-Arab Summit. ‘The Middle East is a land of possibilities. However, the region is at war. The cooperation of all is necessary for maintaining peace while declaring the war judicially. China is adamant on the concept of two states and Israel is in favor of ending the war in Palestine,’ he said in his speech.
China has been supporting Palestine in the recognition of an independent state since the past. Xi has also announced one billion yuan of aid for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
China has also expressed a commitment of 5 billion yuan for post-conflict reconstruction. Similarly, he has announced that he will donate 3 million dollars to the United Nations agency to help Palestine refugees.
