16 June, Kathmandu. Who has been given priority in the budget announced by Finance Minister Varshman Pun for the next financial year 2081/82?
The government has given priority to farmers, small entrepreneurs and startups in the total budget of 18 trillion 60 billion 300 million rupees.
In the budget that seems to target the employment of students and youth, the budget does not seem to include employees, athletes and other professionals.
Children
Health insurance will be provided to all the children in the children’s correctional home.

Our Baa, our responsibility campaign will be conducted. At the local level, the meeting center for senior citizens will be expanded. Old age homes with facilities will be established in seven provinces.

Year of Investment in Women and Prime Minister’s Daughter self-reliance program will be conducted. Health insurance will be provided to all the children in the children’s correctional home.
Disability, minority
Public service will be made disability friendly. Awareness and empowerment programs will be conducted for minorities. A peace fund will be established to provide compensation, financial assistance and rehabilitation to conflict-affected families.

A business incubation center will be established in each province, loans will be provided for startups, a startup board will be formed, and a startup fund will be established.
A youth mobilization program will be conducted in nation building and fellowships will be provided to 1,000 youth in the fields of health, education, tourism, agriculture, and information technology.

‘Friday with the customer’ program will be conducted. Arrangements will be made to work in two shifts in projects of national priority. Arrangements will be made to reward the employees and builders who complete the project before the specified time.
Residents of backward areas
In order to reduce the digital divide, access to information technology will be extended to backward classes, regions, women and communities. Dalit, neglected, oppressed class upliftment and development authority will be institutionalized.

Fertilizer, seed loan interest subsidy, crop and livestock insurance premium subsidy will be provided. Loans will also be given easily on the mortgage of agricultural produce.
small businessmen
The products of women entrepreneurs will be exhibited at the international level, will be entered in the trade portal, and Koseli House will be established and operated. Domestic alcohol will be legalized, prisoners will be linked with employment in micro, domestic and small enterprises.
Industrialist
A partnership program will be conducted for production and employment. Arrangements will be made to intern in the related industry for the youth studying at the bachelor’s and master’s level in information technology.
Health
A basic health service center will be operated in every ward.
Teacher student
1,500 teachers will be made to participate in the boot camp for child development. Extending the scholarship from class 6 to 12, learning from friends, teaching friends will be conducted. In coordination with the local level, teacher posts will be matched and adjusted at the level. Foreign students coming to Nepal for study will be facilitated in the visa process for students who have passed class 12 and will be linked to training and employment.
Landless and squatters
Land ownership certificates will be provided to 5 lakh families.
A member of a cooperative
A regulatory body will be established to regulate savings and credit cooperatives. Arrangements will be made to refund the amount of savings members up to 5 lakhs.
Establishment of Labor Employment Bank
Employment program will be conducted. 200,000 people will be given employment for a minimum of 100 days, at least 1,000 youth will be given vocational training in each province. Health insurance will be through Social Security Fund.
Art culture
Bhanu Literary Garden will be established.
Non-resident Nepalese, foreign employment
At least 1 lakh returnees will be made self-employed under the non-resident Nepali campaign.

Arrangements will be made for pilgrims to easily visit major religious places. Janakpur, the wedding place of Ramzan, will be promoted as a wedding hub and Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautama Buddha, will be promoted as a birthing hub.
