Nawalparasi The Narayangarh-Butwal road section, which has been blocked for two days, has been operational in two directions since this morning. In Navalparasi (Bardghat-Sustapur), the road which was blocked due to the overflow of the bridge access road at Gandakot-9 Thumsi was operational from Tuesday afternoon and the blocked southern section has been operational since this morning. Hasta Bahadur Sunar, chief police inspector of the area police office, Gaandakot, said that with the two-way operation of the road, the means of transport are operating smoothly.
The road was blocked due to slippery soil on the lower hills. Police inspector Sunar informed that the section which was blocked since last night has been fully operational since this morning.
Passengers have been suffering all the time after the rain fell on the Narayangadh-Butwal road section which is under expansion. The road was blocked for two days at this place last year too due to the diversion. Passengers suffer every year because the road is not extended on time. Rasas
