Kathmandu. byPali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has said that his dream of playing T20 World Cup will not come true. Writing a status on social media on Monday, he said that his dream of playing T20 World Cup will not come true. Although his dream was not fulfilled, he expressed his happiness that the country’s dream was fulfilled. Just today, Nepal Cricket Association 9CAN0 requested Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Narayankaji Shrestha to initiate the visa process for cricketer Lamichhane.
CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand along with officials and a team including Lamichhane have met Foreign Minister Shrestha and requested him to initiate the visa process. However, although the discussion with Foreign Minister Shrestha was positive, it can be understood from Lamichhane’s status that he did not get a visa from the embassy.
“They honestly say, even if my dream has not been fulfilled, what I am happy about is that the country’s dream has been fulfilled,” he wrote in frustration. While Nepal is preparing to play the T20 World Cup, Lamichhane will not be able to go due to visa issues.
