Kathmandu. Police have arrested 4 children for cutting banana plants planted by farmers in Chitwan.
315 banana plants planted on about five acres of land located in Khairhani Municipality Ward No. 3 were found cut at 11:00 p.m. on the 1st of June. According to the police, children aged 12, 13 and 14 were arrested on the charge of cutting banana plants.
The police arrested them on May 10. The Chitwan police have informed that the Chitwan district court is currently investigating the criminal nuisance case by extending the deadline.
