Chitwan. One person died and 22 passengers were injured when four vehicles collided in Ward No. 29 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City under the Narayangadh-Muglin road section of Chitwan.
District Police Office Chitwan has informed that a 17-year-old youth, whose identity is yet to be revealed, died in an accident. 5 of the injured are in serious condition.
Bus No. 4KH 9086 going from Kathmandu to Pyuthan, Truck No. 3KH 7915 going from Narayangadh to Muglin, Bus No. 7KH 3248 going from Kathmandu to Bardiwas and Bus No. 6KH 8968 going to Kathmandu from Birgunj collided at one place around 12:30 on Sunday night.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the bus and truck traveling from Kathmandu to Pyuthan collided at the beginning, and other vehicles also collided there.
The injured in the accident are being treated at Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur. The police said that after removing all the vehicles from the accident site, the road was opened in two directions from around 5 o’clock this morning.
