Kathmandu. A discussion was held today between the top leaders of the ruling Nepali Congress and the UML along with Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (UML) KP Sharma Oli.
Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, leaders of that party, Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, UML Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel participated in the discussion held at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Baluwatar.
The Prime Minister’s Secretariat said that in the discussion, issues including review of the government’s operations and making it more effective were discussed.
UML President Oli was appointed as the Prime Minister on June 30, according to the agreement reached between the two major parties of the Federal Parliament, Congress and UML, on June 17.
