11 of the 15 artists who contested the Lok Sabha elections in India won

Kathmandu. The Indian Lok Sabha Election 2024 results have been announced. This time 15 celebrities contested the Lok Sabha elections, out of which 11 celebrities won.

Names like Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari are among those who won the election. Bhojpuri stars Pawan Singh and Nirhua were badly defeated.

Hema Malini won by 293 thousand 407 votes over her nearest rival. Actors like Raj Babbar and Nirhua were defeated. Dream girl Hema Malini got BJP ticket from Mathura seat in Uttar Pradesh. Against him was Congress leader Mukesh Dhangar.

Actress Ranaut, who got a BJP ticket from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, defeated Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh. She defeated Singh by a margin of 74,755 votes.

On behalf of Trinamool Congress, actor Shatrughan Sinha has defeated BJP leader SS Ahluwalia from Asansol seat in West Bengal by 59 thousand 564 votes.

Actor Arun Govil, who became famous for playing the role of Sri Ram in the famous television show ‘Ramayana’, won from Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Arun Govil, who contested on a BJP ticket, defeated SP leader Sunita Verma by 10,585 votes.

Actor and playback singer Suresh Gopi won the election from Thrissur seat in Kerala. Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Manoj Tiwari defeated Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar in the Northeast Delhi seat. Manoj won by 13,778 votes.

Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan won from Gorakhpur seat in Uttar Pradesh defeating Samajwadi Party leader Kajal Nishad. Actress Sayoni Ghosh contested from Jadavpur in West Bengal. She defeated BJP leader Anirban Ganguly by 2 lakh 58 thousand 201 votes.

Bengali film actress Shatabdi Roy defeated BJP leader Devtanu Bhattacharya by a huge margin. She had contested from Birbhum in West Bengal on a Trinamool Congress ticket.

Bengali actress Rachna Banerjee won the Hooghly seat in West Bengal. She contested the election on behalf of the Trinamool Congress. Actress and politician Locket Chatterjee contested the election against him.

Actor Deepak Adhikari, popularly known as Dev in Bengali films, also won the election from West Bengal’s Ghatal seat. He contested the election on behalf of Trinamool Congress and was facing BJP leader Hiranmay Chattopadhyay.

Veteran actor Raj Babbar contested from Gurugram in Haryana. He lost to BJP’s Rao Inderjit Singh by a margin of 75 thousand 79 votes.

Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh was defeated from Bihar’s Karakat seat by a margin of 99,256 votes. He became an independent candidate from Karakat. Communist Party leader Rajaram Singh has won this seat.

Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua, who contested the election from BJP, was also defeated by a margin of 161 thousand 35 votes.
